Types of liposuction

There are 3 types of liposuction: manual or classic liposuction, laser liposuction and ultrasound liposuction.

In classic liposuction, there have been enormous improvements over the past and today micro cannulas of 3 millimeters are used and in areas such as the face or knees even 2 and a half millimeters. This thin diameter means that there is no bleeding or soaking. How does it work? The area to be treated will be drawn. Then, the surgeon will insert the cannula, connected to a tube or a vacuum cleaner and gradually the excess fat will be sucked out.
Laser Liposuction: This is a method indicated to treat many areas of the body such as the buttocks, hips, thighs, abdomen, ankles, love handles and also to treat gynecomastia. The fat that has accumulated subcutaneously is gently removed with lasers, without blood loss, and at the same time a stimulation of the skin is produced, which reduces the size of scars and stretch marks.
Ultrasonic Liposuction: Ultrasound also works in the same way as laser. The cell membrane is destroyed and the removed fat is almost completely removed immediately after the treatment.
